The Waldgasthof Buchenhain with the Munich Süd beer garden is peacefully nestled between the Isar high bank and the Forstenrieder Park, in the midst of nature and under venerable chestnut trees.

RUSTIC BEER GARDEN WITH EXCELLENT BAVARIAN CUISINE

Tradition, hospitality and zeitgeist are of great importance here. With space for around 800 people, divided into a serviced part and a self-service area, our rustic beer garden is a real gem within the greater Munich area.

In the served part of the Biergarten München Süd we serve traditional Bavarian delicacies every day from 11.30 a.m. to 10 p.m., plus we offer changing seasonal dishes on our daily menu. We have already been awarded the “Excellent Bavarian Cuisine” seal of quality and the maximum number of three diamonds for our regional cuisine.

STAYING TRUE TO TRADITION

At the back of the beer garden, our own tap car provides you with hot and cold drinks, homemade cakes and a hearty self-service snack. The taproom is open at weekends and also on public holidays, weather permitting. What’s more: If you want, you can bring your own snack to this part of the Biergarten München Süd, just as it used to be. We remain true to this tradition.
