Peacefully nestled between the high banks of the Isar and Forstenrieder Park, surrounded by nature and under ancient chestnut trees, lies the Waldgasthof Buchenhain with its Munich South beer garden.

Tradition, hospitality, and contemporary spirit are paramount here. With seating for approximately 800 people, divided into a table service and a self-service area, our rustic beer garden is a true gem in the greater Munich area.
In the waiter-service section of the Munich South beer garden, we serve traditional Bavarian delicacies daily from 11.30:22.00 a.m. to XNUMX:XNUMX p.m., along with a changing seasonal menu. Our regional cuisine has been awarded the "Excellent Bavarian Cuisine" seal of quality several times, along with the maximum number of three diamonds.
STAYING TRUE TO TRADITIONS
In the rear part of the beer garden, our own self-service bar provides you with hot and cold drinks, homemade cakes, and hearty snacks. The bar is open on weekends and holidays, weather permitting. By the way: Anyone who wants to can bring their own snacks to this part of the Munich South beer garden, as was customary in the past. We're staying true to this tradition.

A very nice beer garden, super friendly and competent service, and the food is excellent! Everything is fresh and there are no long waits, and the price-performance ratio is good. The regular portions are almost too large, but you can also order smaller ones. Unfortunately, it's a bit of a commute, but we'd still happily go back!
