Excellent Bavarian cuisine at our Culinary Weeks
Good food makes you happy and is very important to us. Therefore, our annual program includes several culinary highlights, tailored to the respective season. Starting in February with fresh Fish dishes of all kinds (14.02. – 24.02.), followed by our Schnitzel weeks in March (12.03. – 23.03.) and a varied offer of vegetarian dishes in April (09.04. – 20.04.). Suitable for Pentecost, we will be serving you dishes made from Bavarian ox in May (May 19.05th + 20.05th).
If you prefer something sweet, you can still indulge yourself until the end of March with our generous Cake and pastry buffet Every Sunday, a delicious variety awaits you in our cozy dining room with traditional live music (January 28.01, February 25.02, and March 24.03).

Valentine's Day with lovebird menu
Fancy taking your partner out for a fancy dinner? Then reserve a table for our Lovebirds menu on February 14th and you'll have a great Valentine's Day gift. Cupid will be serving a romantic 3-course candlelit dinner that evening. You'll also receive an aperitif to fall in love with! You can find the exact menu here. here.
Story Dinner
Or would you rather tickle your funny bone? Story Dinner with W. Stelzle on February 23rd. The storyteller will entertain you with his program "What Cenzi Concerns Your Calves," accompanied by live music and a three-course menu. So sign up for dinner now and spend a hearty evening at the Gasthof München.
Jazz evening
It's all about swinging and jazz! At our Jazz evening On March 08, the Philipp Mai Trio will enchant you with their musical performance at the Waldgasthof. Look forward to the finest live jazz music.
Schafkopf race
There are events at the Gasthof München that are set. And these include, among others, our traditional Schafkopf raceOn April 26, the "Aufkartelt" (card game) event will be held again at the Waldgasthof Buchenhain! The Schafkopf cards will be reshuffled, and all game enthusiasts will be able to show off their skills in the Bavarian card game. Are you joining us? classic car meeting
And it continues traditionally: with our annual classic car meeting on May 04th! Lovers of nostalgic car bodies regularly gather here to talk shop and marvel at the cars. Anyone who appreciates vintage cars as much as we do at the Gasthof München knows: Nothing sounds as beautiful as the burbling of a V8 engine under the hood of an old Mustang! Of course, we'll also fire up our Green Egg and the grills. Rock 'n' roll and dance music will be provided. Teddy & the Lollipops! Let's meet?
80s party
Before we start the exciting summer at Gasthof München, we are organizing for the first time this year a 80s party! Under the motto “Back to the eighties” we invite all party lovers on 08 June to a journey through time and celebrate with DJ Monti on the terrace at the Bar A funky theme party. Don't forget your flared trousers and headband! Admission is free!

Finally, some good news for all football fans: We will of course broadcast all European Championship matches live on public viewing in the beer garden or on the big screen in our beer hall. It all starts with the European Championship opener, Germany vs. Scotland, on June 14 at 21 p.m. And then all that's left to do is keep your fingers crossed for some exciting goals!
