EXCURSION TO THE LAND OF FIVE LAKES
Not far from the Hotel München lies Lake Starnberg, Bavaria’s second largest lake and affectionately known as the “bathtub of Munich”. A 30 minutes drive south of Baierbrunn will take you to the beautiful Tegernsee or Schliersee lakes. With the mountains in the background, the lakes provide a fantastic backdrop. Mountain fans and nature lovers will certainly not tire of the Munich countryside, as there are numerous hikes and tours of varying degrees of difficulty.
