At Waldgasthof Buchenhain we always move with the times and work on improving our Hotel and Restaurant to keep it in good shape. And to kick off the new year, we have some new products!

What's new in the hotel Munich area 

Something's been done in our rooms! Room 80 was a bit dated – so we didn't hold back and renovated it diligently. High-quality natural materials, a modern touch paired with Bavarian coziness, and a brand-new bathroom now await our guests in the new room. You could say it's been thoroughly spruced up.  

Here you can see a before and after comparison of the room that is now available at the Hotel München Umland for your next stay:

  • Double room in the hotel with stylish furnishings, a view of nature and modern amenities for a relaxing stay.
  • A modern bathroom with a sink, towels and toiletries, ideal for a relaxing stay at the hotel.

We would also like to highlight the theme Sustainability Therefore, at the end of last year, two e-charging stations were installed for our guests in our parking lot in front of the Waldgasthof. You can use these in the future during your stay in the hotel, restaurant or beer garden and then continue driving full of energy! 

Our heart project at the Waldgasthof Buchenhain 

Host Stefan Kastner has always had a passion for "old things" and, in addition to our Munich-surrounding hotel, also runs an antiques shop on-site. Visitors can admire and purchase the treasures in the cellar of our restaurant and hotel, both online and in person.  

For all bargain hunters among you, our flea market table is the perfect place. You are welcome to browse around here at any time and hunt for a bargain or two. And the best part: The proceeds from the antiques sold at the flea market table will be donated to the Foundation
"Munich's Heart" donated. Support us in doing good and feel free to take a look around the restaurant and hotel in Munich's surrounding area on your next visit!
