On a classic car tour, you'll experience small, winding, and often quiet roads, breathtaking scenery, and historic towns. Combined with the refreshing fresh air, this is an excursion you won't soon forget.
But where exactly should we go now?
Curve fun to Kesselberg
Do you like curves? Then head to Kesselberg! This winding route offers riding fun at its finest. The tour starts at a leisurely pace from the Waldgasthof restaurant towards Kochel am See, taking small roads past meadows and fields with magnificent views of the Alpine panorama. A short stop at Kochelsee – don't forget your swimsuit – and a refreshing dip in the cool water. Then it's up the pass road to Kesselberg/Walchensee. Once at the top, you'll be rewarded with a fantastic view of Walchensee. After a rest, it's back towards Kochelsee with plenty of momentum. Those looking to enjoy a bit of culture should stop at the Franz Marc Museum in Kochel or continue towards Linderhof Palace and visit the fairytale king Ludwig II to learn about Bavarian history and culture – it's worth it! Then it's back to the Waldgasthof restaurant on small, quiet roads.
Excursion to the Five Lakes Region
A slightly less energetic but equally exciting classic car tour is a trip to the Five Lakes Region. It takes you along quiet back roads to Lake Starnberg, the first lake in the Five Lakes Region. Along the way, you'll be greeted by picturesque views: its deep blue waters and the impressive mountain panorama. Further upstream, you'll come across the famous Andechs Monastery. It's worth taking a short break here to enjoy the wonderful view of the region. After the break, you'll set off refreshed in your classic car towards Lake Ammersee, past Inning, and from there to the tranquil Wörthsee, one of the warmest bathing lakes in the Five Lakes Region. Here, you should also take a swim. After the refreshing stop, you'll continue to Lake Pilsen, the second smallest lake in the Five Lakes Region. From there, the route leads you along small roads back to the Forest inn.
