Two days of emergency: Our Buchenhain Forest Festival
A summer without a forest festival? It doesn't exist here. Saturday, 19. July The festival starts at 17 pm with live music from Teddy and the Lollipops and Soul Kitchen – two bands who know how to get the crowd going. Admission is free, and seats are in high demand.
Am Sunday 20nd July, things will get really lively: Doors open at 11 a.m., the Mühlberg Musi opens the day, then Adi Stahuber and his Isartaler brass band as well as Sepp Eibelsgruber and his brass band friends. There will also be Goaßlschnalzer (a traditional German slang for "Goaßlschnalzer"), a children's program with a clown and face painting, and, of course, our tried-and-tested delicacies from the kitchen and the wooden barrel. Our tip: If you stay for the weekend, you don't have to worry about getting home.

Flea market fever around the Hotel München Süd
Our Farm flea market is no ordinary flea market. On Friday, July 25th, from 15 p.m. and Saturday, July 26th, from 10 a.m., our courtyard will be a treasure trove. From antiques to curiosities, from rare items to homemade items – here you can browse, bargain, and enjoy. The perfect start to the weekend, combined with a fresh beer and a plate of Obazda in the beer garden.
Stefan Glowacz live: Expeditions between rock and ice
A summer highlight for all mountain lovers: July 30th at 20 pm (only in good weather) tells Stefan Glowacz, one of the world's most famous extreme mountaineers, recounts his impressive expeditions. An evening filled with goosebumps, a thirst for adventure, and fascinating images, right under the open sky in the beer garden. Accompanied, of course, by fine Bavarian dishes and cool drinks. Admission is free, but please arrive early, as space is limited.
Summer of Soul – every Friday in August
When summer reaches its peak, soul music comes to Buchenhain. Starting August 1st, every Friday, the stage is set for summer of soulFor five weeks, top-class soul, funk, and jazz musicians will be performing on our Waldbühne stage. Admission is free, as always, and the concerts start at 18 p.m. We'll also be serving our summer specialties and a refreshing light beer or two. Anyone who has ever sat on our terrace on a balmy August evening knows: it doesn't get more summery than this.
